This Privacy Policy explains how Zeroset LLC (“Scannabis”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use Scannabis. Scannabis is a business-to-business cannabis market-intelligence tool for licensed cannabis operators and brands.
Information we collect
Account information you provide: name, email address, password (stored hashed by our authentication provider), your selected store, plan tier, and preferences (e.g., comparison radius, email opt-ins). Usage information: basic logs and analytics about how the Service is used.
Market data. The Service also processes business market data — dispensary menus, product names, prices, and brands — gathered from publicly available sources. This is factual commercial information about businesses, not personal information about consumers.
How we use information
To provide and operate the Service (authentication, analytics, the features tied to your store and plan); to send service and, if you opt in, market-digest emails; to secure, support, and improve the Service; and to comply with legal obligations.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it with service providers who help us operate the Service under contract — for example our hosting/database provider (Supabase), application hosting (Vercel), and email delivery (Resend) — and as required by law or to protect our rights.
Cookies & sessions
We use cookies strictly to keep you signed in and to remember preferences. We do not use them for third-party advertising.
Data retention
We retain account information for as long as your account is active and as needed for legitimate business and legal purposes. You may request deletion as described below.
Your choices & rights
You can update your profile and email preferences in your account settings, unsubscribe from digests via the link in each email, and request access to or deletion of your account information by contacting us. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional rights over your personal information.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted transport and row-level access controls, to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
Eligibility
The Service is intended for business users 21 and older and is not directed to children.

We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date.
